The Ultra-Filter Pad is a lightweight, portable solution designed to capture oil, fuel, grease, and other hydrocarbons before they can be washed away into soil, storm drains, or other environmentally sensitive areas. Its replaceable liner, made of our own oil-absorbent material called Ultra-Filter-Tex, is capable of absorbing an average of 13 times its own weight in oil while allowing large volumes of water to pass through.
The Ultra-Filter Pad is ideal for storing equipment such as generators, chainsaws, and landscaping gear, or it can be used as a servicing or maintenance area out in the field. Once the Ultra-Filter Pad’s liner is saturated or as a routine maintenance practice, it can be replaced quickly and easily with a new one using quick-release locking fasteners in each corner.

- Two-inch, foam sidewalls provide structure and help contain stormwater during periods of quick or large amounts of rainfall - ensures Ultra-Filter-Tex has ample filtering time.

Why would I use an Ultra-Filter Pad?
The Ultra-Filter Pad excels where ease of portability is a priority. Because it is lightweight and compact, it is perfect for use in the field and especially in more remote areas. The Ultra-Filter-Tex liners can absorb oils and hydrocarbons and prevent the environment from being contaminated.

Does the Ultra-Filter Pad contain water and other liquids?
The Ultra-Filter Pad is not a spill containment product. It is designed to only hold water for a short period of time in order to give the Ultra-Filter-Tex enough time to filter hydrocarbons. (NOTE: Ultra-Filter-Tex filters oils and other hydrocarbons from water very quickly. During heavy/fast rainfall, additional time can be beneficial).

Does the Ultra-Filter Pad capture synthetic oils?
The Ultra-Filter-Tex material used in the Ultra-Filter Pad is designed for the absorption of hydrocarbons and will not absorb synthetics.

Can I buy liners separately?
Yes, the Ultra-Filter-Tex liners are available separately. A complete unit does not need to be purchased every time.

What's so great about Ultra-Filter-Tex? Why couldn't I just use a polypropylene absorbent pad?
Ultra-Filter-Tex allows water to pass through much quicker than any polypropylene absorbent.
